After a lengthy application process that lasted more than 9 months, we have officially decided to honor the nomination for membership of Ms. Maylee Gail Simpson (please see pic to the right under Larissa Simpson). She comes to us from Benbrook, TX. At the time of induction, Maylee is 4 days old. She is related to all of the current members (besides Matt).Her interests include eating, sleeping, and pooping, though not always in that order. Maylee had no comment at the time of the induction ceremony. Mainly because she doesn't know how to speak English yet though I might mention she is fluid in sheep screams, burps, and wittle bird noises. We are very excited to have Maylee join the prestigious Gaston Gang! As soon as she discovers that she has fingers I'm certain she'll be blogging away.

I would like to be the first to congratulate Maylee on her Induction, and at the same time i am relieved to no longer be the newest inductee. I do however have one request any time she posts i will need translation because i am not fluent in sheep screams. i would also like to inform the current members that i have decided to begin my own blog at http://mattbhorner.blogspot.com/ and am using the most popular blog i know to give my first plug at no charge to the Gaston blog. my main hope is that i can keep it as alive as this and the Simpson blog
YAY! Maylee is officially a member of the family now! Whew! :) Took her vote long enough to go through... ;)
I wasn't sure that Maylee could handle the rigorous screening process to become a member, but she showed her true Gaston/Simpson form and took it all in stride. I look forward to the day she discovers her fingers...
